Announcement, News|

Hello from King County –

Many of you participated in the design process for long-term security at the Matthews Park Pump Station. Thank you for sharing your concerns and suggestions. The process developed a refined fence design that incorporated community priorities for the site with the security needs of the County’s Wastewater Treatment Division.

The public input process concluded last week. The location and components of the refined fence design are presented below:

Wooded
SandPoint
Anticlimb

County property asset managers are now working to secure materials and crews to complete the job. The project schedule will be determined by the availability of both staff and materials.

King County will share more detailed schedule information as it is confirmed. Work will occur in full compliance with state and local public health and safety orders.

You can learn more about the joint design process and the refined fence design by visiting: https://publicinput.com/G227. The site will be available through the end of June.
